Build a V60

If you're looking for the AWD 325hp variety, it'll set you back at least $44k. Prices for the T5 FWD start just north of $35k.

If you're going to be an early adopter, save yourself some coin ($325 ) and make the free trip over to Gothenburg with the Overseas Delivery Program.

Damn "wagon tax" strikes again...and it won't get any better in the pre-owned market, E91s are priced ridiculously.

What about the V60 Polestar?

I'd expect more V60s to make it over than did E91s, but the ideal plan is to scoop them up used within the first three or four years.

Yeah, if 328xi M sport prices were reasonable, I would have found my way into one.

$44k for the T6 AWD isn't bad...but the automatic is a deal breaker.

I understand about the auto, but if you're going to buy a Volvo it's something you're going to have to live with. This car isn't for a performance enthusiast who likes Volvo, it's for a Volvo enthusiast who likes performance.

If it's like the C30, it'll be another 5-10% on top, but I'd bet $65-70k if I was just guessing.

It's something wagon lovers like myself with have to live with soon...there are a few cars I would be willing to give up a clutch pedal to own (Panamera, B8 RS4, RS7, E63), but the Volvo just isn't interesting enough.

I was also quite disappointed with how small it was on the inside when I checked one out at the LA Auto Show. Pretty sure it has less practicality than my MKVI Golf R.

It's not the same sort of car, but an STi is like $40k with some of the same stuff in it. I think there might be a serious premium for the AWD + Volvo sees itself as the swedish answer to german luxury. Their cars are priced a bit higher than the competition regardless.
